MonitorIT is the solution we have employed to provide true public service SLA monitoring. Systems monitoring through ManageIT provides the capability to monitor any aspect of the system where an agent is installed. It also gives us the ability to perform regular external system checks to services where an agent cannot be installed. There are instances however that require more rigorous monitoring than can be accomplished with the built in tools in ManageIT. Many of our customers have requested we provide a method for alerting for outages of public services of as short a duration as a few seconds so they can verify that a service they are using is really living up to the SLA promised by the provider of that service. This could be a hosted website, Citrix server, or any other service that promises 99.999% reliability.

MonitorIT answers the needs for flexibility of system monitoring and flexibility of notification at a price point that allows monitoring of all network systems. MonitorIT can be configured to provide notification of system metrics for Unix, Linux, and Windows via e-mail notification, SMS Text messaging, Numerical paging, AOL IM, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, or MSN, all without even installing an agent!
